Force on target for national database

WMP is due to link in to the Police National Database (PND) in June and July and in a recent readiness survey scored 241 out of a potential 258 against the PND Code of Connection.

With the pass mark set at 180, WMP is well above the minimum standard for its confidential IT systems. Force Confidential Infrastructure Project Manager Dave Edwards said, "Information inspectors from the NPIA came to review our project. The result is that our state of readiness is very good and we are on track to support PND delivery from June."
